1. How it works
- 1-on-1 consultation — tell us where you will wear the suit and the look you want. Your designer will suggest how to bring out your best features.
- Choose a real fabric — a photo never shows the fine detail of a fabric, so you choose from the actual samples. Our fabric tiers are published upfront (see prices).
- Measuring — we measure you in person, at a time that suits you.
- Checking — some people want a tight fit, others a relaxed fit for every day. We confirm what you want before anything is finalised.
- The making — everything is recorded on your own project form, your pattern is drafted, and the fabric is pressed before cutting so it keeps its shape.
- Delivery and alterations — we deliver at a time and place that suits you. If anything does not fit, we keep adjusting it free of charge.
2. Five things to decide before you come in
- Occasion: work, a wedding, an interview or events — it changes the weight and colour of the fabric.
- Budget: the fabric tier sets most of the price. Our suits run from $390 to $990.
- Fit: slim and close to the body, or a classic fit with more room? Think of the clothes you already like wearing.
- Colour: for a first suit, a plain navy or charcoal works for the most occasions.
- Extras: shirts ($55, $89 or $130), a vest, a coat or a tie to match.
3. What to bring
- The shoes you will wear with the suit (for the trouser length)
- A jacket that you feel fits you well
- Photos of styles you like
4. Paying for it
You pay only a 10% deposit when you order. The rest is paid when you receive your suit and you are 100% happy with it. One customer told us their navy suit "came in 4 weeks" — your timing will depend on the fabric and design, so we confirm it at your consultation.
