Planning a wedding suit or tuxedo

A wedding suit is a custom order with a fixed date. Decide between a tuxedo and a suit, tell us the date, and start early enough to leave time for alterations.

Tuxedo or suit?

  • Tuxedo: the most formal look for the day itself. Ours come in 100% wool, Australian wool and cashmere & wool, from $390 to $790.
  • Suit: you will wear it again — to work, to other weddings, to interviews. Navy and charcoal are the most versatile.

The steps

  1. Tell us the date so we can plan measuring, the fit check and any alterations backwards from it.
  2. Choose the fabric from real samples at your consultation.
  3. Bring your wedding shoes to measuring so the trouser length is right.
  4. Wear your wedding shirt to the fit check to set the sleeve and collar line.
  5. Collect early: if anything needs adjusting we do it free of charge, so leave yourself time before the day.

One of our customers, Stephen, wrote that he had his "suits, shirts and Wedding Tuxedo tailored here" and became a regular customer.

Groomsmen and family

If the groomsmen or fathers are having suits made too, tell us how many people and the date — we can plan the fittings together.
